This pitched roof flashing is designed for use with Grant vertical balanced flue systems serving boilers in the medium to high output range. It provides a weatherproof seal where the flue passes through a pitched roof, maintaining the integrity of the building envelope while supporting the concentric flue structure. The aluminium construction allows the flashing to contour to common roof materials, creating a secure and lasting fit.
The flashing is sized for the larger White System flue assemblies used on boilers rated between 26 -70kW. It is supplied as a shaped plate with a formed upstand that accepts the vertical flue section. Once installed, it helps ensure correct drainage around the penetration while keeping the flue casing stable during wind loading. It is suitable for typical roof angles used in domestic and light commercial buildings.
When used with Grant vertical flue kits, this flashing contributes to a complete balanced flue path that controls both combustion air intake and exhaust discharge.
