Ductile iron D400 access covers

Wrekin’s Highway manhole covers are designed and manufactured to meet the enhanced requirements of national highway authorities’ HA 104/09 specification. The Highway range of access covers conforms to BS EN 124:2015 requirements and also includes patented safety provisions and design features to ensure safe and robust performance.

1. For use in a Group 4 D400 class environment
2. Patented frame design with enlarged frame orners that help dissipate load
3. Complies with UK Highways Authority specification HA 104/09 with enlarged frame flanges and corners and the inclusinon of lifting points
4. A patented safety keyway prevents accidental disengagement during the lifting operation. Also compatible with standard D400 lifting keys
5. Three point suspension on covers for non rock stability
6. Manufactured from strong and highly durable ductile iron
7. Indexed coveres ensure correct fitting
8. Compliant with BS EN 124
9. Third party certified by BSI Safety
