The Longest Day Golf Challenge

MacBlair raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support 

Last year saw over 3,000 teams across the UK sign up to the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge, raising 1.5 million for people affected by cancer. Now it’s our turn to join them. The event consists of 72 holes of golf back to back, covering around 20 miles in one day! so it’s definitely not for the faint hearted!  Regardless of this daunting undertaking we found 12 eager volunteers willing to take it on! 

The MacBlair Teams will play over 2 days. Tuesday 20th will see teams from our Belfast & Bangor branches taking on the challenge. The Belfast team will be playing all 4 rounds at Rockmount Golf Club with Bangor taking on 2 courses at Clandeboye & Donaghadee Golf Club.  

Wednesday 21st is the turn of our North West Team playing at Faughan Valley Golf Club.  

All 4 clubs have kindly waived the green fees for the event, so a big thank you to them!
