MacBlair Charity Events 2023
Throughout 2022/2023 MacBlair along with Watershed, Doorways, Wood Floor Warehouse and P.McDermott & Sons Omagh partnered up with the charities Aware NI and Community Rescue Service.
Both charities offer invaluable services across Northern Ireland & MacBlair are proud to Champion them.
AWARE is the Depression Charity for Northern Ireland.
AWARE has an established network of 23 support groups in rural and urban areas across the country, which are run by our trained volunteers. Support groups welcome people with depression and bipolar disorder as well as carers for people with the illness.
The Community Rescue Service are a Charitable Search & Rescue Organisation operated by volunteers from communities across Northern Ireland.
They provide all aspects of search and rescue falling under the remit of Lowland Rescue including ground, inland water, bike, boat and more.
Event Plans for 2023
Fundraising was kicked off this year with a challenging hike up Slieve Donard, in aid of Community Rescue Service. Read more here - News - MacBlair Take On Slieve Donard
Our team members pushed themselves to the limit and we are incredibly grateful for their efforts, and we know that the funds raised will make a significant impact.
In addition to the Slieve Donard hike, our team will be taking on lots more challenges throughout the year. These include:
