Darkness Into Light

The MacBlair, Doorways, and Watershed teams set their alarms early to kickstart their day with a meaningful mission - The Aware NI Darkness into Light Mood Walk.

The team's walk was not just an ordinary morning stroll. It was a symbolic gesture of support for their charity partner, Aware NI. This nonprofit organisation is dedicated to helping people in Northern Ireland affected by depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The MacBlair, Doorways, and Watershed team's participation in this Mood Walk was their way of contributing to a cause that aims to raise awareness, provide support, and offer hope to individuals facing mental health challenges.

The Mood Walk served as a reminder that there's always light at the end of the tunnel, and together, we can help others find their way towards it.

The team covered a good 6.9km, with each participant raising money to go towards Aware and the vital support and help they offer to local communities.
